Rooms
Some of our 36 rooms have private toilets and en-suite showers and all have access to basins, communal bathrooms and shower rooms for convenience. Residents can personalise their spaces, bringing familiar items like favourite armchairs and family photos to create a genuinely homely environment.
For safety, rooms do not have locks, but we can install one upon request if it’s deemed safe and appropriate.

The mobility-friendly garden is a peaceful outdoor space for residents to enjoy. Key-coded doors allow all residents, particularly those at high risk of falls, to explore the gardens safely without constant supervision.

Residents can experience Magic Moments, and there’s always something to enjoy, from arts and crafts to yoga, quizzes, social events and outings.
Staff
Our award-winning team at Old Shenfield Place is the heart of our care home. Trained in dementia, palliative and elderly care, our staff are warm, compassionate and genuinely invested in the well-being of our residents.
We also benefit from dedicated training from local district nurses, enhancing our care at every level. Many of our team members have been with us for decades, so we provide consistent and familiar care, creating a supportive and family-like atmosphere.
